50 Posts & Almost 50 Subscribers
What We've Learned
Kind Readers,
As we celebrate our 50th post on Ven Si Puedes, we find ourselves at a meaningful milestone. We're also tantalizingly close to reaching 50 subscribers (we're just a few shy → do help us reach that perfect symmetry!).
Looking back on this journey, a few lessons stand out:
Community matters more than numbers. Each of you who reads, comments, and shares has made this space what it is. While we celebrate these round numbers (cause we are geeky like that), it's the conversations and connections that truly matter.
Consistency wins over perfection. Showing up regularly, even when posts weren't perfectly polished, has built this collection of ideas that now stands as a body of work we're hugely proud of 💛
Finding our voices is taking time. The writing in post #50 flows differently than post #1. Finding our authentic voice has been a gradual process of shedding expectations and speaking more directly to you about what matters to us both
and .You just showing up means everything. Yes, the posts that resonated most with you have guided our editorial direction. But your comments have sparked new ideas and sometimes entire series of posts.

opens her beloved NYTimes app. Or The Atlantic… we are reading what you write BEFORE we read The Atlantic y’all.So as we look ahead to the next 50 posts, we're excited to dig deeper into the themes you've shown us matter most. And to keep it fresh, we have some new themes, topics, and formats planned and can't wait to share them with you. Much of it is about Panama, most of it is about embracing change and changes as we do life together on this little rock.
